Just went for a good long ride, still have slight dimming of lights when parked @ idle but nowhere near as bad. Cut off the engine and turned on the key and the batt gauge still reads at the low side of the "ok" box. Gonna check the wires coming off the alternator, hopefully it's something stupid like that and not the alternator itself or the PCM. The voltages at battery while running are only about .5v low.

Hey you have a DIY trans line booster? Is it worth the time? I put one together just have yet to install it. Wondering if it's worth the time.

We are in the same boat i dont want to just throw it under there yet until i heat shrink it and put something else on it to protect it, im sure it would be fine with heat shrink alone but im not risking a new tranny.

Yeah noone has worked on her in over 4 years. Starter motor contacts are next cause I'm sure they're shot too.

I don't have the dimming problem or any other problems but when I shut my truck off and turn the key back on, mine is also on the low side of the ok just like your one picture. I have also cleaned that contact point last year when I had my fuse box out to do my repair to the box. Also my battery is original which is an 04.
