I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 and I have not been having any problems out of it. Recently the check engine light came on and I went to autozone and advanced auto both showed the code for cylinder 8 misfire. I replaced cylinder 8 spark plug and coil. I reset the light which came on again a few days later. I had it checked again, said the same thing. I got a new coil and replaced it. I reset the light and it came on again about a day later. Any idea of what could be going on? Thanks in advance!

 

Not being rude but did you change both of the plugs on the cylinder #8?
Im having a similiar problem with a random misfire and a cylinder 4 misfire

 

I originally changed the coil and the spark plus and now I just changed the fuel injector and the light has not came back on. Hopefully that works.

 

How much did the injector run you? Did you do the install or a shop?
