Angry LEDs Staying dimly lit.

Just got some LED bulbs for my cargo lights.

As you can see they already have a resistor in them. They are still staying dimly lit when turned off. Anyone else have the same issue with this bulb? What's the point in them putting a resistor in if it's not going to do what it's supposed to? I siliconed the damn light to keep it from leaking too... I'm pissed.

When I had LEDs in my tails they did the same. Its just residual voltage in the circuit that will eventually bleed down as the LEDs use it

I just hope they don't stay on like that while driving, it's pretty noticeable

Mine only did it after I turned the key off. During driving they did not but you can check yours pretty easily if you want to make sure. Have someone follow you pr just have them put it in gear and hold the brakes
