Default O2 sensor

Thinkin about gettin some LT's, just doin a little homework beforehand. Im wanting to keep the cats. Can i splice in a 14-16 gauge wire for my o2 extensions? Has anyone done this?

I had to do this on 5 different plugs (all mine where ripped out)

Both downstream o2 sensors, high & low speed sensors & 4WD mode sensor, used butt connectors, heat shrink to seal them, put electrical tape on them & zip tied them up. 4WD works, speedo works, transmission works, no CEL on the o2 sensors and no DEC's on the bully dog, all works just fine.

Mine are done this way also.

To add to it, my rear O2's have non foulers on them stuffed with 0000 steel wool
