Well that's not good (selling the tuner and keeping the tune) specially since those tuners marry to each car individually I thought? (correct me if I'm wrong)

So you might be up-****'s creek as far as connecting a reader to the car...

Anyways... Only other thing I can think of is someone may have put something in your gas tank that's clogging the fuel pump/filter... **** anyone off lately?

 

Haahah once you use the tune the tunner becomes locked, but you can pay SC to unlock it for you.

And i have connected other scan tools to it and they would read a code when i had one.

But a clogged fuel filter or a pump going bad is were i am at now. If the o2 sensor that comes in today doesnt work.

 

Got the o2 sensor today put it on and like i figured that wasnt the trick.

So now where should i look? It turns over and will fire up and die just as soon as she starts.

I cant get it to a shop to do a fuel rail pressure check so any thing i can do?
Or any part i can look to see for wear....

Im almost positive im not getting fuel

 

Do a fuel pressure check. I do not know how or even where to hook a gauge up to it, but there's a lot of info on how to do it, looks easy anyhow. YouTube has some vids just search "fuel pressure check". Good luck!

 

You know what?!

I just thought of something like this that happened to a neighbor... if your truck has a Chip in the Key it might be that the key lost it's programming and the security system is shutting the truck off....

Try using another key or having another key programmed to the truck... that could be the issue...

 

NO chip in this key! Thank God!!

And ill look up the fuel pressure check... But im pretty sure the only way is a pressure gague to the fuel rail.

then clogged fuel system/failed fuel pump is only thing left on the list I guess...?

 

Their is a shrader valve on 04 hemi's right side of motor under hemi hat, check fuel pressure and volume.

And now its time to look like an idiot. When i was driving home on the bad o2 i was getting 6 miles to the gallon on AVG. Having an already empty tank i forgot to equate the 6 mpgs instead of my usual 12.... so long story short put a couple of gallons of gas in it along with the NTK OEM o2 sensor and she fired right up.

I was so sure that she finally broke down, and spent all my time on the complicated stuff instead of thinking of the little things.

But now im back to almost 14.5 on AVG.
