Default which Ball Joint?

Hi together!
in June 2011 i changed my Balljoints from my RAM2500, 4x4, Heavy Duty, HEMI, 2004.
Now, i have to chang them again they are all leaky, in the last 12 Month i used a whole box grease, i think thats not normal, isnt it?!

Which Balljoint did you recommend? Are there "closed" balljoint so that i dont have to grease?

Thanks for your help!
Rik

The stock ones are generally not serviceable... Aren't on my 04 1500 anyhow.. Most guys WANT to go to one they can service, not vice versa... Most I've seen recommended is moog for the serviceability factor.

If you put too much grease in it, you will have grease leaking everywhere and go through a lot of it. My opinion is just replace it and put maybe 2-3 pumps in it from a manual grease gun. Every time you change your filters, put only one pump of grease in it to push any possible debris out. That will be plenty enough to keep the bearing lubricated. If you accidentally put too much in, clean the excess grease off, lift the boot just a little and clean the grease off of where the boot meets the steel. That will help keep the grease from coming out. once it has a thin layer exiting the boot seal, it will always have that exit until it is cleaned off. Try that with your next ball joint and I think you will find it will last you a very long time.

MOOGs wont let you down. I've also heard from multiple people that the NAPA brand are made by "MOOG"

I had my OEM BJ's changed last year with MOOG (asked for Carli, but they didn't have them available). They've been greased at every oilchange and they are still tight with no issues. Very happy with them. I have put on almost 50,000kms and had a front end inspection 2 weeks ago and they gave me the thumbs up on those..
