What type of differential do i have if....
Correct, as Osteodoc said... you bought the wrong one! Sorry.
You can tell on any differential by jacking up one rear wheel and seeing if it will turn (being out of gear/park, with e-brake off, of course... some DO forget). If it does, one has an open differential (NOT limited-slip).

Even with the limited-slip, the Ram tends to spin the tire in the air and not the one on the ground. It did it in my Durango when I would go Off-Roading, when both wheels are on the ground you'll spin both tires, but not necessarily with one wheel in the air.
Dodge uses a Limited-Slip, not a Locker. A Limited-Slip only works to a certain degree then it basically becomes useless, a Locker will positively lock both rear axles together when one is getting no traction.
Look in your Glovebox there should be a sticker that will tell you whether or not you have the Anti-Spin differential and also what your Rear End Gear is.
