Angry I Got a few problems

Hello,
I own a Dodge ram 1500 2007 HEMI (187 000KM)... My dash is like a christmas-tree with almost all the lights on. My air-bag light is always on, my check engine is always on. I also have the ABS and BRAKE light lit up when my speedometer stop working. My cruise control work only between 80-100 km/h (when my speedometer is working of course) Do i need to change the truck lol...

Oh yeah and I almost forgot, My transmission is acting kind of weird... I need to shift from neutral to drive so I can go on the 4th or 5th gear.. Any idea what I can do?

Thanks

I would try to have the codes read first but at the very least, I'd disconnect the battery for awhile to try and reset everything.
Maybe you might need an exorcist though.

Get the codes by doing the KEY TRICK, tell us what you get, as for the speedo and air bag idk

There is a speed control sensor on the tranny. Change the one that controls the speedometer and that should fix that problem. But turn the key three times and it will tell you all your codes!

I'd pull the codes and go to fixing. ANY vehicles I've ever seen with that many lights on the dash was the result of some VERY long over due routine maintenance...

Take it by an auto parts place, most will hook up and read the codes for you for free. Take pen and paper and write them all down.

RamLussier,

It is hard to determine the exact problem, when there are so many concerns, without a diagnosis or any codes. I do agree with HammerZ71, the problems may have started awhile go if regular scheduled maintenance was not completed.

I would recommend going to a Dodge dealer, they are equipped with unique diagnostic computers and electronic and mechanical tools, especially designed to service the Ram brand.

PM me if any additional assistance is needed.
