Violent Shaking Need Help
2006 ram 1500 slt reg cab 8' bed rwd
This started a while back but was not as noticeable so I didn't think much of it. When I accelerate up highway speeds (60mph) I feel the truck start to shake. The whole thing shakes but its worse in the steering wheel. When going downhill with a curve it is the worst and violently shakes.
Aside from a balance and alignment which I just had done what else should I look at? I think it could be front suspension related because it gets worse when turning. I have checked the ball joints and tie rods ends but they dont seem to have excessive play.

My truck was doing the same thing to a much less extent just maybe a quiver and a small steering wheel shake. I had my mechanic change my upper and lower ball joints and it pretty much went away. As everyone knows that Dodges do have a problem with bad ball joints. Theres my 2 cents!
