Default 2005 Ram 1500 Engine and Transmission replacement

I just purchased a 2005 Ram 1500 4x4 that needs a new engine and transmission. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction, trying to find a high quality rebuilt of each at the lowest price possible.

The engine is a 4.7L Magnum -info from dealership is as follows: 4.7L Eng (EVA)/5Spd A/T 5-45Rfe(DGQ)

Another question I have is can I put in a 45RFE transmission instead of the 5-45RFE or is this a bad idea. Also would they be plug and play? I have found several rebuilt 45RFE's at a much lower price than the 545RFE.

I have found a few sites listing the engine as well but am stuck when it starts asking if the engine has 16 or 32 tooth and if it has EGR.

Any help would be appreciated.

45RFE & 545RFE are the same transmission. Programming is the only thing that makes them different. Adds an extra overdrive gear.

Hopefully someone more knowledgable of 4.7's will answer here. I know the 02's are an odd duck with the number of teeth on tone wheel. I think that will will do the trick though.
