Sudden loss of Hi-beams
2002 Dodge ram 1500.
Got Bi-Xenon HID kid with 6k bulbs, and all the correct and needed wiring.
This morning I just suddenly lost high beams but retained low beam. I know with my bi xenon bulbs hi and low is merely based on the position of the bulb, focused and unfocused within the headlamp itselfs.
But when I go to Hi beam, It just kills the headlights and Now I have the lampout indicator on in the dash. Low beam works just fine.
Could this be the dimmer switch screwing up?

First Check your grounds... Most likely ballast grounds.
Next check the bulbs themselves, some Bi-Xenon kits use dual filament bulbs and a relay inside the ballast to switch to them.
In my personal experience, Only the real expensive kits use different bulb positioning.
What brand & model ballasts & bulbs do you have?
