I have a 04 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 5.7 hemi and a automatic trans(not sure which trans model). I recently got a p2706 code for the shift solenoid, cleared it a couple times now, but keeps coming on. Also when im driving down the road in 4th gear it will slam into 3rd and stay there, even if I stop at light and accelerate again. It will clear for a few mins if i shut off and turn back on. I went to autozone and bought the shift solenoid, and dropped the valve body. When i went to take off the 15 bolts from the valve body I noticed after I removed there is nowhere to put it, it looks totally different. Can anyone tell me if im in the right place or if I have the wrong replacement part? I took a few pics
