Either way its the same risk.
By "New" what do you mean. New to you or Brand New?
I couldnt tell which way is cheaper

Probably need to weigh cost & warranty of each and see which works out the best..

How'd you blow yours?

If I rebuilt it I would like to get a little bit of work done but I can't find anyone that can do anything.
Any ideas?

Either find a shop and have yours rebuilt or buy a new or used one. Simple. Rebuild may be costly depending on what's wrong with yours, brand new one will be expensive but will have some kind of warranty, used one probably cheap but limited warranty and it is used, never know what you're getting...

Like Stewie said a new one would be best because of its warranty but that will be the most expensive route for sure.
If you rebuilt yours it could run for a while longer but no easy mind with out a warranty, but this is def the cheapiest route

It only had 70,000 miles on it is why I was thinking rebuild. But I slung six rods and may have a cracked block anyways.

Details would be greatly appreciated as to how you slung 6 rods... If you choose to have yours rebuilt you won't know what it will cost until a mechanic tears it down to see how bad it is...
