Fitch Fuel Catalyst?
Hey guys,
I am actually extremely curious about this system.
Does it actually work? Have any of you tried it?

Higher octane fuels does not necessarily give you better mileage. It would just give less detonation among other things.
Your PCM, through the reading or various sensors, determines the fuel amount you use which in turn determines your mileage.
Remember that other things such as how high the truck is, how big the rims or tires are, how much air is in the tires, your alignment, AC usage, spark plugs, coils, EGR, PCV, O2 sensors, clutch cooling fan, stat, air filter, driving habits and more, all play into the mileage

It does work..
When it isn't broken it will save you approx .0001 of a penny per mile, and take you approx 100k miles for it to pay for itself, all while taking a risk you needn't take..
Magic bullets, except for the one that took out JFK, don't exist.. all you can do is tune that rascal to the absolute edge, and keep your foot smart.. that's it..
On an aside and in blatant effort to hijack your thread: Google "six cycle engine".. now THAT is a promising concept.. there is one that exists that produces 392hp and over 400#tq that weighs a whopping 50#.. read that sentence again, it isn't a typo..
Water injection right after the exhaust stroke, works like an additional power stroke, and then another exhaust stroke.. engine is cool to the touch, which means it doesn't waste energy.. it is the bombdigity.. and, a smart effer with deep pockets could retrofit a standard v8.. the 392hp is an outboard engine.. imagine what the displacement of a v8 would produce??? I got hot and bothered thinking about it..
Plus, 6strokes get about 40% better gas (gas, not necessarily fuel, mind you) mileage.. the rest of the fuel used? De mineralized h2 floggin' o...
Fitch? Meet your waterloo..

Yeah I figured it was too good to be true, but I was more interested in this for my ATVs and Dirtbikes mainly because they get stored alot and they make the same kinda thing that goes inside the fuel tank... So it got me thinking...
Yeah, most things out there are placebo effects when in actuality because you bought something new and think it works, you want to make it work or see how it works so you drive different than your normal day to day style and at the end of the week you see a difference and swear it was what you bought when in reality it was because you changed your driving habits.......whew!
