Default New to me megacab with stereo question

Hey all just got my 2006 megacab with 5.9 cummins, the stereo is having some issues, it will play sometimes, then when you start the truck up there will be no sound at all but the stereo says its playing, if you go under the hood and pull the stereo amp fuse and put it back in it will play until you shut the truck off again, its got infinity setup. any ideas? bad amp? short?

Likely a wiring issue with how it was wired during the after market install

This is the problem with buying a previously owned ride. You never know what has been done to it or how things have been rigged.

However, we do need more info as asked above.
