Is there any way the exhaust system is creating back-pressure or something? That might do something silly to the engine.
I know, as a plumber, back pressure is not good in pressure or waste lines.
I dunno, just trying to throw a different perspective at this. Sorry to hear about your Ram. Hopefully someone will read this thread and have something click and come up with the answer licketty split.

yep it does and is. What are the chances that the TPS is bad? I bought a new one last week or two and it didn't change anything. Having the company to send me another PCM because the garage said it was not communicating all the time, but I think they just wanted to run me up a high bill. The first one I bought didn't change anything either. It's gotta be something simple and just overlooking it. Did I mention that after trying to start the truck I have to turn the key completely off then turn it back on to try and start it. Seems like it has no power when i try to start it in the on position the second time. Won't do anything at all. I changed the black box thingy in the steering column. Can't think of what it is called right off. BWD Ignition starter switch is what I got.
