Very true. Thats why videos are a longshot of what the muffler really sounds like.
Magnaflow= Better flow though

True, that is why they recommend listening to the sound clips with headphones as it gives you a better sound.

Still doesn't change the fact that a FM flows the same if not worse then the stock muffler due to its chambered design where as the MF is a straight through design that flows at higher CFMs than the stock muffler

Thanks all for the information. I decided to go ahead and get the exhaust done. I went with Magnaflo. As soon as I can afford, I'll go with the CAI. Thanks again all.

For under 30 you can build your own

Lol not evey thing has to be CA legal!
But i thought that a CAI was illeagl anyway in CA?

Well yeah, but hes from CA so.... also the one that he was looking at is legal in CA, check out the link from autoanything that I posted, it states carb legal in 50 states. Unless they're full of it, that one should be good to go. I'm sure the cheapo ebay ones are not, and obviously if you build your own it wont be, but some companies take the time to make theirs legal i guess.

K&N is a big player in the aftermarket world and they work hard to make sure their products comply with emissions standards. I checked on their website and it is confirmed that part# 57-1533 is in fact 50 state legal!
