Default Whistling

Hey guys,

since ive bought my truck in june ive had a whistle that sounds like its coming from the air intake(?). It needed a new filter so i put one in and the whistling got worse. Then yesterday i put a CAI on and its much worse now. It doesnt happen with low or high throttle, just mid throttle and i can basically control it using the throttle which leads me to believe its an air leak and the more air flow it gets obviously the worse it'll get. So whst i want to know is if any one has had this problem and knows a fix. Im thinking its mayb where that elbow connects to the throttle body under the engine cover.

thanks for any help

Throttle body spacer? I've read where those will cause a whistling sound.
