i dont care for it its not my style but i can appreciate any custom vehicle that somebody has put their time money and effort into. i would just get a body kit and replace the front bumper with a sport bumper and the chrome grille surround with the sport style one. then either get a sport bumper in the back or a roll pan. id go with a roll pan. shave the door handles get a tonneau cover and then bag it. also if you bag it be sure to get an on board air compressor so that you dont end up like some morons i see having to catch rides home from school with other people because their tanks ran out of air and they cant raise their truck back up.

Like a few of the guys here, not my style. I prefer big tires, smaller rims, and huge lift. But I'm also with John. If you love what you do, then do it. Customs are always fun to look at, high or low. By the way ROCKER, nice truck. Very. And Ramon, if you don't end up baggin yours, still looks good where it sits now.

Well you can see what my style is, but I know a lot of people that do custom drag trucks (And I'm not talking about DRAG racing, i mean DRAGGING) My buddy did a 74 Full size Chevy, painted it Corvette Orange on 22" Torque Thrust II Wheels, bagged. It sat on the ground, but about 1/2 inch off the ground when he drove.. All the work was done himself, in his backyard. Ill see If I can Find a PIc.
Here is his style

My Style

Both cool in their own way I think...

Cool truck, i am actually doing a 1980 chevy stepside for my mother, its gonna be lowered 4 inches in the front and 4 1/2 in the rear, gonna have a/c tilt/cruise/ and a nasty big block under the hood w/ o/d 2 inch cowl induction hood and so on..I am doing all the work myself as well in my shop i`m currently getting ready to paint the frame and get the entire front suspension together hopefully by spring then rebuild the rearend to a posi then set the cab on and go from there ,like to make it a rolling chassis by summer but we shall see when it gets there..

thanks
pat

Yeah it was an awesome truck.. He sold it recently and is now working on a 1940's Ford Coup, he has already chopped the roof and stuff, it's going to be bitchin I would guess. He does REALLY good work, that 74 Chevy was immaculate.

I guess I'm one of the few that enjoy both Jacked up and Slammed. 4x4 Put it in the air, 4x2 Slam it.
