Yep, for some reason completely unknown to me, I've seen older batteries test ok, but be just bad enough to cause all kinds of codes and conditions from not starting at all to running like crap in these trucks. All the while generating codes that would in no way make you think it'd be battery or even electrical related.
Not a bad idea to take a known good battery and throw it in there before throwing all kinds of $ at it...

Bad compression... If all of the 8 plugs on that side of the motor are black and the other 8 on the other bank are much cleaner, I would have a compression test done to see what's up.
You might be losing compression or fuel in those cylinders.
Many people that see that particular Vacuum leak DTC have a severely cracked intake manifold or they got a back-fire into the intake (due to pre-detonation) or a failed injector.
Kind of hard to find a vacuum leak when we can't get the engine to start, so to find it you would have to have someone "smoke" the vacuum/intake system and see what happens.
try putting an entirely new battery on there and see if it helps, but no promises on that one.
Your problem is starting to look more and more grim but with the number of codes you have there has to be something critically wrong somewhere... it might even be the computer, it might have just took a dump on you.
