Default heat control pannel

OK this morning here in cold Western Pa. I put on my heat. It is not dual control so only one ****. The air would blow on the floor only setting .. The floor and dash setting , The dash only setting . But not the defrost only or defrost and floor setting.

At first the heat control would also not regulate the heat only blowing hot. but half way to work it was regulating it fine but still the directional sections only partially work.

I don't think this is the blend door issue that everyone talks about due to it moving to multiple positions just not the defrost . Does this sound like a computer issue or? Control **** issue. Or blend door.. Suggestions?

If its a Blend door issue How many doors are there in the unit? 1 or Multiple?
I looked up the issue on the search engine but none really said the symptoms mine has. switching to multiples but not defrost

There are 4 actuators driving dampers on a single temp. control truck.
1 of those motors drives a linked set of dampers. On a dual control, this damper is not linked and has a 5th motor.
That particular one is the 'blend' damper, which cycles between heat or bypass.
That one is not your problem. Yours is most likely the next one over, the third from the right, roughly behind the ashtray/cupholder. The entire dash must come out to get at any of them. A bazillion screws. 1st time in will involve a lot of curse words and mebbe 2-3 hours. I got it down to alot less due to the fact I've taken it apart a dozen times last week.
There is alot of info out there. here's some.
And I'm still waiting on a reply on the thread "what's wrong' covering heating issues.
