Default Header problem

I'm installing LT's and my pass. Side header is touching my lower trans cooler line where in comes out of the tranny. Is this a big deal? Does anyone else's do that?

hmm... i know that often times you need to saw off one of the little tabs on the tranny case itself in order to get the LT's to fit, and they definitely run close to the cooler lines. You can throw a heat shield in there if you want, or try to run some cable that pulls the lines a little out of the way. As long as there is a noticeable air gap between the headers and the cooler line you should be ok for most situations. Under heavy towing you need to be careful, but's that's true anyways.

If it's touching them I would move them ASAP... not just b/c of heat but also b/c of vibration... the last thing you want to deal with is leaking trans fluid...

Yeah, I would not want it touching either. Mine dont touch the lines but did touch the tab on the trans. I had to cut it off
