Front Shocks/Struts

This may be a stupid question to most, but does a 2008 Ram 1500 have both shocks and struts on the front or just struts? I ordered Rancho RS5788 thinking I was getting both and only got struts. I look under my truck and only see struts. Am I missing something? I'm pretty new at figuring this stuff out on my own.

It would not have both. The strut is the shock.

Only the '06+ 4x4s have struts (coilovers). Anything below '06, 4x4 or 4x2, will have only shocks, front and rear.
