i pulled the fuel rail and had somebody turn the motor over. All eight injectors are spraying. Thanks for that info though. Good to know.

To go from barely running to not running, CHECK THE COMPRESSION. Unless you put a gauge on it, you don't know if you have good compression. Who did the engine work? Which components (brand, size, etc)? I'd also do a leak down test to see if it is a case/block problem.

ok....i'll be sure to do that. This is not my truck so i'm not sure who did the work or the brand of parts that were used. I am taking the pcm to have it flashed tomarrow. Seems strange it would just stop running over night.

It could be a plethora of things. If your injectors are the standard injectors, your engine could have ran lean and burned up a piston. You are asking a lot out of the standard injectors whenever you add more displacement, especially if the heads are not contoured to the appropriate dome dimensions. In other words, if built improperly you can have a very high compression head design, mixed with inadequate fuel delivery and a low octane gas can mean big trouble for a motor. Hate to break it to you this way, but I'd be very curious as to what the copression ratings are. If the fuel pump can't keep up, depending on the routing of the fuel rail, the cylinders that are the last ones to recieve fuel can get an inadequate supply and run lean, burning up the pistons. Bottom line is to check the compression and let us know what you find.
