Muffler direction
I don't know that it matters but im no exhaust expert...maybe silly stuff like noise/smell/smoke at a drive thru teller (bank) or restaurant. In that case, I'm glad I have my exhaust on the passenger side. Sometimes though, I wish it were on the driver side to smoke out some smart a$$ :-)
I've searched all over and can't find any markings. No arrow, no nothing. It maybe painted over since the mufflers painted black. One port is centered, the other is to the side if that helps

Ok thanks. It's not welded on there yet though, it's an ultra flow welded muffler. Once again sorry for the screwed up wording. But just wanted to make sure I had it right before I did weld it on there
Direction is for sound and flow. The internal baffles are directed a certain way to promote better flow and scavenging.
Most arrows on muffler bodies are stamped into the steel and raised, so painting over the muffler, you would still see it. No arrow, no direction.
The Dynomax ultraflow is basically a straight pipe that is in a larger muffler body to assist with a mellower tone. Doesnt matter which way you install it. ;-)
