I'm not so sure this is a problem so much as an oddity, but settings 2 and 3 of my fan controls seems to be backwards.

When I set it to "3" less air blows out than when it is set to "2".

I don't even understand how this would be possible.

 

Short inside the actual switch mixing the circuits up.... change the whole HVAC switch assembly and try it again.
