Default no start. please help

Under the hood:
2007 hemi
new battery wires positive and negitive
new battery (tested good)
new starter (tested good)
new starter relay wire

With everything connected I get click click click
disconnecting the fuse box and using a jump wire from positive batt to starter relay I get an engaged starter trying, but failing to turn the motor over and heats up the wires (somkes them if I were to stay on longer than a moment). The enging turns fine by hand.

I am at a complete loss and any help would be appreciated.
Any ideas?

Follow the battery cables. You most likely have a short or ground or loose fitting. If they are ok, do the same with wires going to and from your starter relay.

you have a bad ground check all your engine grounds from the battery (NEGATIVE) terminal..... they might be lose or there might be back contact to the chassis....

Do you have any modifications or is everything bone stock?

How new is the battery? Was it checked with a load test or multimeter? Have you tried jumpstarting? If not the ground then I recommend that you focus on the battery. Failed battery is normally the cause of the problem you describe and is frequently mis-diagnosed.
