Brakemotive rotors/pads???
In an earlier post I reviewed Brakemotive drilled and slotted rotors with performance ceramic pads. While they improved braking alot they squeal alot, mainly in reverse.
I was wondering, anyone else have this problem and what can be done about it? Are ceramic pads just this way? Thanks.

You should use ALWAYS use Disc brake quiet lube on all areas where the brake pad contacts the caliper. It's kind of an Anaerobic RTV sealant.

It absorbs the vibration. The vibration is what we hear as the squeel. Eliminate the vibration and squeel goes away. This is why all Quality pads have thick shims behind their pads. Unfortunately, with ceramic pads, that shim still isn't good enough.

I got the same thing and yes they squeal a lot. The better the performance of the brake pad material, the more prone it is to squealing. I used plenty of disk break quiet and couldn't get rid of the squealing when the brakes are cold.
I have done some road racing and the carbon ceramic pads used for that squeal 100 times worse and suck in performance until they heat up. Rotors basically got to barely start glowing for best performance out of those pads.
My suggestion is to put up with the squealing until it is time to change the pads again, then I would go back to a more basic OEM pad material but keep using the drilled and slotted rotors. The main problem with the brakes on the Ram trucks are the rotors warping due to not being able to dissipate the heat efficiently enough.
