front alignments, are they all the same?
Wondering if one place can or cant do more than another as far as a true alignment. TownFair tire seems halfass, maybe its just me. Is Sears any better or worse? Any suggestions?
I know that some places charge more if you have larger wheels because it requires a larger bracket for the laser tool they use. An alignment is and alignment.
Heck, I even changed out my tie rod ends and measured the lengths with a crappy ruler and never got an alignment and I have seen zero effects on tire wear etc the passed 20,000 miles I have driven it like that.

Thats what Im doing, inner and outer tie rods. Alignment is out already so I have to have it done anyway. Its wearing my outside tread on these tires. Putting Cooper HT plus on to replace these pos Hancook Ventus AS.
Make sure they put the new tires on BEFORE doing your alignment. Some places just set the tow and let it go. I have recently had an argument with a store manager about that. Paying for an alignment and visually being able to see the camber on the drivers side was kicked in all the way. Half the tire was literally off the ground. The truck has to be lifted to change the camber.
