Default Right Low beam issue?

So about a week ago I noticed my left low beam was out. I popped the hood and saw that it had fallen out of the headlight and smashed somewhere. I replaced both light bulbs and when I turned them on, I noticed that the right low beam was still out. I switched the bulbs and same problem. I used my old bulb that was not broken and still the same issue. I was driving a long ways so I just left them in and to my shock, I hit the high beams and they both worked :S. So my right headlight has high beam but no low beam. Any suggestions? Could it be a breaker? (never had tipm issues before)

We need to know what year and trim level truck you have?

for example.... 2008 Ram 1500 or 2005 Ram 2500.....

Without knowing this we can't tell you where to start looking.

Sorry. 2006 ram 2500 5.7 liter .

I also noticed that my multi-funtion switch is going haywire again. I had it replaced under the recall (dodge still charged me to look at it lol.) When I try to signal left, the right signal come on. I don't know if this could be linked?

Go back to the dealer than did the work, tell them it is still happening and recall work was performed... they should take a look without cost to verify it.

Pocompton,

I would agree with Izero and review with the servicing dealer. When you were charged previously for the recall was there any other work that was completed. If service is required for a recall it should be completed at no charge to you.

If you would like assistance with further review or have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Generally when I see 06+ headlight issues and the bulbs has been replaced and there is still an issue, I instantly think of a TIPM failure
