TCC Lockup switch?

Not sure.... I know it isn't possible on my 2008 b/c of the TIPM stuff... not sure about 2002...

TIPM?

The oil pressure sender has to send back some kind of electrical signal, and I don't think it would be much more complicated than an analog signal that varies with pressure.

if that's the case it would be pretty simple to tap into that, and use a microcontroller to translate that signal. the problem would be getting the scale.


I think I'm going to look into this.

I would never take my lock up out of the equation UNLESS it was a track/strip truck.

I used to have an 87 442 I restored with a Cad 500 block and a 200r4 trans. On it I bought a kit from Summit/Jegs to be able to control the lock up but it was purely a play toy car

It looks like you would need to get the signal directly from the sender, because it goes from the sender to the PCM which then tells the gauge to either be Normal, Low or High. But you will still need an aftermarket gauge.

I contacted Dodge to see if it's possible to have the PCM reprogrammed to the make the OEM gauge live.
