You're in the wrong section first off. You want the 4th gen section. Secondly, The only way you can get an intake like that is with the Vararam CAI. But to answer you're question simply, no you can't do that. The engine sits too close to the hood

That and the TB points forward rather than UP (vertical) like a carb

The varraram looks cool, but its expensive, a simple aftermarket CAI is the way to go, or just stay stock

No you can't get one on. I told you the engine sits too close to the hood and like Fishin added your throttle body not only sits at the front of the engine further restricting space but it faces forward and not up which is necessary to put one on

good question curious to know my self if it would work I do not see any reason why it wouldnt. I understand as well people are saying here that it wont fit but op did say he got one on i take to mean that he got it to fit.

Agreed I would like to see how he got it to fit on his truck. I still cant see a reason why it wouldn't work as long as there is a filter cleaning the air and doesn't restrict the airflow logically it would work.

4th gens have vertical TB's... so yeah the OP can use one... but unless he has a hood cowl, I don't see any performance benefits.
