2002 1500 4.7 Knocking. But not cold, and not when warmed up.
It's odd. It'll only do this faint knock after it's started warming up, and goes away when fully warmed up. It does NOT do it cold, and NOT hot.
Ideas? I just bought this truck like a month ago. It was probably making the sound before, I just couldn't hear it. The thing drives fantastic.

Sorry guys. Listening to the video, it's clearly a knock. Truck is 2wd, 149,000 miles.
It purs like a kitten when it's good and hot. K&N oil filter, 10-w30 Castrol GTX High Mileage oil
Thanks for the replies, guys.

It's also very faint. If the HVAC is on low you can't hear it, and it's not audible outside the cab.
it could be something loose under the cab that is knocking because of a broken weld or some ****

Did ya hear the video? I don't think it's a rod knock because 1.) It goes away, and two.) It's too damn quiet :P . Does the 4.7 have lifters? I don't know what the oil change history is on this truck.
