Default 2004 ram over heating problems

Hi guys, in having a problem with my 2004 Ram 1500 SLT. i use it daily and it never over heats, but for some reason when i go up a steep hill it over heats for example: ( C_____/_H ) it dont go all the way to the H. This has been going on for a while, the radiator had a little leak so i change it, also i changed the thermostat and still does it. what could be my problem??

What engine do you have? When you changed the water pump and t stat did you do a flush and refill with new coolant (HOAT or Zerex G05) ???. Correct t stat? Could have gotten a bad one.

Over-heating at speed and slightly-higher load points to a stuck 'stat. If this happens only at lower-speeds, I'd look to the fan clutch.
