Default Front brake pads.

Anyone know for definate if front brake pads are the same for a 4x4 and 2 wheel drive?
I have a chance if buying a cheap set but the guy says they're for a 2wd and mines a 4x4 03 Hemi ram 1500.
Cheers.

Al,

I looked at rockauto for brake pads for your truck and there was no differentiation between 2wd 4wd. It did list a number of different ones according to duty----but that is all.

Ram 1500 2WD or 4WD share the same pads both front and rear.

Glad you edited your post.
I really didn't need your first reply.
Been quite ill recently and brain wasn't in gear. I just needed a quick response to what was and your right, a simple question!
Pads may be cheap where you are, but in the UK they run in excess of $75 a set. So a chance of a cheap buy ($2 on e-bay) is a BARGAIN!!!
Good job I have some friends on here like Gone Fishin to help
