Default 2003 ram , can't get blower working

I can get the blower working on my 2003 ram 1500 ... it went out for a few days with only high which indicates a bad resisitor because i have replaced them before..but after 2 days on only high ..it completely quit..no blower at all ... then after another day or so everything came back for 3 or 4 days ..then back to only high for a day or so ..now nothing, have looked at fuses, tried new resistor , even bought a used heater control in the dash for 115.00 because i though that was the trouble ... plugged it in and same thing....nothing, no blower. Is there something else i can check that might be gone? when the blower was working ..it worked as normal . Its a bad time of the year to not have heat ..:\

Your blower motor may be the culprit. If it was only working on high that can indicate the motor is weak and will only work on higher amps. Replace the motor, before you blow another resistor, and possibly more. I think the motor can be had for less than 50 bucks.
