Default hum in front left. not WB...

2003, 1500, 4x4, 175k

i have a hum in the front driver wheel. bearing is rock solid. no wiggle what so ever. but on the jack i have a little wiggle in and out left to right not from top to botton like a WB.

i can see a little play in the tierod end.

on the road if i turn left 1/8 of a turn on the wheel the sound is gone.
sometimes the noise is loud sometimes real faint

is this the tierod or an alignment issue?

replaced cv and stub shaft on passenger side last year.

any help?

wheel bearing. They can go bad with no play. By turning you are appling more load to the bearing taking up the slack, causing it to stop making noise.

1 3/8 socket on the 03 ram 4x4 hub nut.

changed the bearing aaaaaaaannnnnnnnndddddddddd... still got the humm.

could it be the right bearing? when i take off from a light i can hear it wined up with kinda loose vibration sound then at speed its a smoothes out to a steady hummmmmmmmm. i can feel it in the floor.

like i said when i turn left it goes away so the right side is taking the weight.

someone please help. this is driving me nuts.

Is it the mud tires you have on..try rotating front to back...if you turn left and it goes away yes that would mean the right bearing is bad....
