I am trying to remove the right side cv shaft on my 2008 Ram 1500 to replace the inner seal. I can't seem to get the shaft to come out of the differential. Is there something that I am doing wrong. I did the same repair on my 2003 Durango and the shaft on that vechicle just popped right off the shaft. I have been working on this step for an hour now, can someone please help me.

My Durango also doesn't have this 4-bolt seal on it or the actuator there like this axle does.
