Default Left rear door wire harness

well, i suppose this will be the first repair on the new truck.

opened up the left rear panel on my quad cab to test my speaker, as it was not working when i purchased the truck.

well the speakers fine but since ive opened it, my auto locks and dome light wont work for the door. sooo, im assuming its the wire harness in the boot.

i read in another forum that its pretty common for the harness to kink and tear wires, so im gonna go back at it tomorrow and get the boot off and crimp the wires(if thats the problem.)

should i take pictures of the process, turn it into a tutorial?
