Yes. You need to purchase a harness.

buy Metra brand Harnesses they are good quality.

You can get them at any Best Buy that has a mobile electronics installation bay....

You will need to know year model and trim level....as well as if you have an infinity sound system or not... (should say over the speaker panels if it is infinity)

you have the wrong harness, you will need the amp bypass or amp integration harness... you should see some RCA looking things on the harness......

Also make sure you solder the ground (I suggest Lead Free Solder...)

You have a 2008 which means you need the CAN BUS harness...

http://www.metraonline.com/part/CHTO-01

That is what you need....

Oh and remember to adjust the audio output adjuster on the little black box before you put the radio back in... I suggest you use an I-pod so you get "clear" sound without distortion..

Install Notes:

From the 22-pin Chrysler harness:
• Connect the Yellow wire to the radio’s 12-volt battery or memory wire.
• Connect the Black wire to the radio’s ground wire.
• Plug the 10-pin harness into the CHTO-01

When using the CHTO-01 with a radio that has a high audio pre-out voltage, usually greater
than 2-volts, the audio signal may become distorted. To resolve this follow these steps:
1. Make sure the ignition is turned to the “off” position.
2. Disconnect both of the harnesses from the CHTO-01.
3. Locate the potentiometer next to the 14-pin connector at the end of the CHTO-01.
4. Taking a small flat headed screwdriver, turn the potentiometer counter-clockwise to lower
the input level going to the factory amplifier.
5. After making the adjustment reconnect the wire harnesses.

Also if you have steering wheel controls you will need to install the ASWC adapter... here are the install instructions for that:

http://www.metraonline.com/files/pro...INST10_web.pdf

If you aren't getting the radio to POWER ON you need to run that yellow wire to an ignitioned power source..... Also check the solid red wire to ground for 12V+... Also it might help me if you took a picture of the harness you have installed back there.

If you aren't getting sound but the radio is turning on, you might need to adjust the small potentiometer on the back of the black box from the metra harness...

I just replaced the radio in my 07 this weekend. I used the PAC C2R-CHY4 interface. it was pretty much plug and play. I only attached the larger portion of the factory harness, as i don't have any steering wheel controls. I would suggest double checking your connections between the CANBUS bypass unit and your head unit harness

The smaller harness is the Sirius XM hook up. You cannot connect it to an aftermarket stereo. Your new wire harness adapter hooks up to the other one and you match all the wires you need to the new stereo.
