Default Brake calipers

Anybody know of a good upgrade for front calipers for a ram at a reasonable price.Probably swap out the rotors also and get steel braided lines.
No i'm not going racing or anything LOL,its just that i find with auto trucks(cars) there is a lot more braking involved as compared to a stick shift,i find my brakes
not very good after they get hot.Great pedal but not great stopping power.

Yup, change to ceramic pads. You'll be glad you did, I'm not sure if you are actually looking for better stopping by way of larger calipers, or an upgrade to your current setup.
If its calipers, you might check out brembo, but usually entails larger rotors, pads, the whole gambit of upgrade, $$$$$$$$$$.

Brake kits are big bucks. What are you trying to accomplish? If you want a better brake feel and slightly decreased stopping distances with better resistance to brake fade go with a set of Akebono ceramic pads and Powerslot rotors all the way around. It is also good to flush all the old brake fluid out of the system every year or so with fresh fluid since the fluid picks up water, even through the rubber lines!

The best bank for the buck is get some drilled and sloted roters from I rotors . com I think they will set you back about 600 for all for then just get some good cermics and youll be good to go. If you do the work all your self you may have 800 bucks in it

Better rotors are a benefit over stock, but I don't think that cross drilled mega buck rotors will give you much real world benefit in day to day driving.
