Default 2002 Ram 1500 ignition switch problem
I just purchased a 2002 Dodge quad cab and am having issues with the ignition switch, when the truck is running and I turn the key past off and to acc position the engine continues to run but if I stop and off the engine does stop, aI just installed a new ignition switch but it made no difference

Did you replace the ignition switch and the lock cylinder or just the ignition switch?

No just the switch, the key tumbler works fine so I didn't feel that would be an issue
