Default 2008 Ram 1500 quad cab leveling kit - what do you recommend

what do guys recommend for a front end leveling kit? I have seen some kits on ebay but not sure whats a good brand, prob like a 1.5" kit, just want to level truck out. Since im doing shocks now would be the time . any feedback would be great, thanks guys

Daystar makes good leveling kits. Id stay clear of the eBay no name kits I first bought one of those claiming to be a 2" lift ended up be 3/4".

Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks...changing shocks anyway..kill 2 birds with one stone...love em...huge improvement in ride and handling quality.

wow your truck looks real nice in pic, nice and level all around. How much did they run you? how many inches did you gain in front end? Im look to do just front i am assuming you did all 4?

Got em for around 100 each. Did the rears, but you don't have too. Love the look now and the ride is firmer... but truck handles better. Had them for about 2 years now and they are great. Not a fan of the raked look. They are adjustable from 0-2 inches. Set mine on 2.

Bilstein 5100 leveling STRUTS (not shocks) are only for 06-08 4x4s. If you have a 2WD I would suggest 3 inch lift spindles. Around 275 bucks

whats your option on the leveling kits, the spacers that go in between the strut? saw some online daystar makes. They say comfort ride as I am not looking to change ride quality.

You are correct. Bilstein leveling SHOCKS are only for 4x4s. Op didn't specify. Bilstein does not advertise for leveling struts. Putting a spring on a shock does NOT make it a strut. It is the structure built into the lower end of the strut enabling it to do double duty as a controlling suspension member, that makes a strut a strut.

yes I called bilstein I can get the shocks only like you have and use my existing(stock) spring/strut assembly
