Installing new engine...

Hello everyone, first time on here, I blew my engine in my 2006 ram 1500 5.7 HEMI and will be putting in a new engine(5.7 HEMI). I almost got the old one out. When I install the new one, do I need to do any programming? Or will it just basically be a plug in and go(concerning the electronics)?
