Oil guage going down?

No I did not figure it out yet. I'll try with the lucas. It's only happening when my truck is hot?

Did you mean 60 psi or 6psi? there is a very big difference in those readings... 6 psi would indicate your oil pump is toast.... 60 psi would be pretty normal...

Ok.. I just found out why my oil guage is going down.. It's the gasket for the oil pan that's leaking so i guess I'm losing pressure from there... I'll receive my oil on today and install it asap. I'll let you know if it worked

I know that my little bas a$$ pt cruser 2.4 has the style type of oil pump. And had the same issue. The oil bypass valve was stuck open a little and had to replace the pump. Sorry for the caps, i talk loud.

Are you going to put a new pump in since you will have the pan off? And the torque specs for the pan bolts are important. maybe why the gasket is leaking

Not just the torque specs but the order that they are torqued in is important too... download the service manual or get an aftermarket repair manual to get the procedure.
