Default 2007 1500 warning chime keeps going off

On my way home today my warning chime started going off for no apparent reason. It's the chime that sounds when your gas get low, washer fluid, ect. It was random maybe every once 10 seconds, sometimes 5. Then it would stop for a while then start again. My check engine light is on and has been for a few months. (I know, but what can you do when you have no money) All gauges were fine, fuel level was fine. My seatbelt was on and the warning was disabled by previous owner I'm guessing because I've never heard it. VERY ANNOYING!! What could it be? Should I just disconnect it. 2007 1500 Hemi quad cab 4x4

I figured it out. Didn't realize it was happening every time I stepped on brake until I went out again. I checked and have a brake light out. I've never heard of a chime sounding when a brake light was out.

Understand being short of money, but if you are going to blow off the Check Engine light, I'd suggest at least get the codes read so you know what is going on inside the engine. Autozone & other auto parts stores usually will do it for free.
