I took out a couple of road signs with my daughters '05 2500 (SLT, quad cab).
The passenger door is pretty banged up. I'm think of just replacing it
but finding a used 2500 door is rough.

Would a 1500 door fit?

Unfortunately, your question is posted in the wrong section. It should be in the Third Generation section.

 

I'm no expert but best I can tell, they are the same body with different badging. It's what's under the hood, in some cases, and what the body is attached to that has differences.

 

1500 doors are the same.
Just make sure you're getting a quad cab door.
