Default Problem with Dodge Ram 2500

I need some help please! I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 with the 5.9 and 6spd trany. My truck encountered a problem two days ago, it will not start with the key. I have checked all fuses, (they are good) called dodge and they couldn't give me a solution. I checked with a test light and figured out that the wire running to my solenoid is not hot with the key on. The truck will not do anything when I turn the key, I thought it might be the clutch safety switch, and I bypassed it. The truck will not start, however if connect a jumper from the solenoid wire to my battery and the key is on the truck will start. The truck runs perfect, no check engine light or anything, I would really appreciate some help!

Thank You!

I sounds like the electrical side of the ignition switch is bad.
