Current Camper is 4000lb. maybe closer to 5000 or little more when I get everything loaded and everyone in the truck. There is a big difference once I put it into Tow mode.
Definately use tow/haul but not sure why 4-5K lbs is causing much of an issue. Even with 3.73's unless you have way oversized your tires, you should be able to move this easily with OD turned off. The ultimate fix is per Hammer's post
Does Dodge offer a LSD for the truck? Or is it all aftermarket? If all aftermarket what is a good brand? Keep in mind I do not DD this truck. It is used for towing the camper and weekend vehicle. my SRT4 is my DD.
Dodge does offer an LSD. But if you don't have one you might as well spend the extra $250 and get a Eaton or Auburn. If you get 4.56 gears and as long as you have factory wheels and tires in 5th gear at 65mph you will be running 2150rpms. Which is a lot better than 1600rpms! Screw that! 1600 rpms is only good for flat areas or not towing! But like I said earlier.......if you have 4wheel drive you have to change both front and rear ring and pinions and get master install kits with them. It is a lot of cheese to get it done!!

Thanks for the info. I am going to contact the dealer to find out for sure if the truck has a LSD. And will find out the pricing of the 4.56 gears also. any modification needed to run the 4.56 ratio? Drivetrain wise?

No mods needed to run 4.56. Just need front and rear ring and pinions. Front and rear master install kits. And a good lsd if u don't have one. And did I mention a lot of dough?! Your looking at $2000 give or take a few hundred!
