Default Help??? Coils, injectors, ECM, more

I purchased a used 2003 2500 quad cab 4x4 Hemi with 90,000km in late November and it has been in the garage since early March. It started running a little rough and got progressively worse in about 500km of mainly highway driving. Eg $70 gas for 200km of distance. I had it put on the machine and it said I needed #2&5 coils and #2 injector as well as has a random misfire. I was also told I might need a ECM and a new fuel rail. I brought it to a different garage that could handle the repairs. This garage confirmed what I was told and did order the ECM. After 3wks of parts issues I pick up my truck and it is still running rough, bring it back. The mechanic goes for a ride with me and says he was afraid of that, suggests I change out 7 coils that haven't been changed and new plugs and he will double check the compression. The next day I am told 7 cylinders have good compression but #5 is down to 30-35, when he put a couple drops of oil in the compression is bang on. I ask for a price and timeline to change the rings in that cylinder, he calls back and starts quoting me the price to put in a used engine. I ask why and am told that dodge is not tolerant and so just rings is not a good idea. I didn't like this proposal and told him I will think about that and call him back Monday after I have had a chance to talk to some people. I don't like the idea of a used engine when mine only has 96,000km, doesn't burn oil and I haven't heard any clinks or knocking. I use this truck to plow snow in the winter and carrying building materials during the summer, I need a workhorse truck. I never witnessed a check engine or any other warning light on however it has now been determined the check engine light is not working, I don't know if there are any other ones not working as I am not familiar with Dodge's. Good advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure what else it could be. I thought the new coils would be a big help.

In what ways it it running rough? Not accelerating well? Engine is humming? Or just dosent sound right?

Idk how bad it is but maybe it would just be easier to have it rebuilt? I wouldnt think this should be the correct route especially because the miles are not that high. But if the engine light has not been working maybe it has been on for a while and that caused an issue that was not known to progressevly hurt you engine worse and worse..
I am sure more folks will join in and give a lot more benificial imput then I will. Just trying to get a few more facts

What I mean by running rough is that it has a small vibrate when I first start driving on city streets, it gets worse at higher speeds, hesitant to automatically go through the gears, rough changes, not much power, seems like misfires to me.

Unhappy More people must have some idea or opinion

I would really appreciate some more assistance before I put more money into this truck or by the end I of it I could have bought a whole new truck the way things are going.
